How we work
On our How to Order page you will find step-by step instructions on placing your order. You send us your photos (either by uploading them or by email) and select the style and size of portrait you desire along with any special instructions. You pay a 25% deposit and we get to work creating a high-quality portrait which can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Our artists do not merely replicate photographs, they are talented and creative and will produce a stylish work of art which captures the essence and character of your chosen subject, using high-quality, long-lasting materials. Where it is appropriate, they will edit out undesirable features (e.g. pet collars) and set the subject against a complementary background.
We will email you an image of the rough sketch of your portrait when we start, and also an image of the portrait as it nears completion, and you can request changes if you feel they're necessary.
Delivery time is normally three weeks - we will notify you when your portrait has been completed and it will be despatched guaranteed next day delivery as soon as the balance of your payment has been received.
Your portrait will be delivered unframed in a sturdy tube to avoid damage, and as the canvas is pre-stretched, you can take it to any competent picture-framer to select a frame which best suits the portrait's intended location.
Our prices are listed in the tables below and include postage and packaging – what we quote is what you pay, there are no hidden extras.
