Terms and Conditions of Use
General
Use of the portaits-shop.co.uk website or any of its services implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland. These Terms and Conditions contain the whole of our agreement relating to your purchase including any information about our pricing and contact details contained on this website, and they cannot be varied unless approved in writing by a Partner of portraits-shop.co.uk. Unless with prior agreement, all goods supplied are for personal use only and are not to be sold or offered for re-sale. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any person or company for any reason.
Furthermore, portraits-shop.co.uk reserves the right to change, add or remove any portion of these Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in the Terms and Conditions will be effective when posted. You agree to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to make yourself aware of any changes, and your continued use of this website after any changes to these Terms and Conditions is considered to be acceptance of those changes.
Payment
Payments are made using our secure payment service provider, PayPal. At no time will your credit card or bank account details be made available to any representative of portraits-shop.co.uk or stored by us in any format.
Cancellation and refunds
Each order requires a deposit payment of 25% of the order value. This deposit will be refunded only in the event that the order is cancelled within 24 hours, thereafter the deposit becomes non-refundable. In the event of your portrait being damaged in transit, it will be repaired or repainted free of charge so long as we are notified by you within 48 hours of delivery, and the damaged portrait is returned to us along with the original packaging within 5 days of your notification.
Delivery
Delivery will be by the Royal Mail's Special Delivery Next Day service and will be despatched only after we have received the balance of your payment. You will receive confirmation of despatch by email including the corresponding tracking code for your delivery.
Copyright and Images
It is the sole responsibility of the person placing the order to ensure they have the permission of the copyright owner to use the image which they are providing. Portraits-shop.co.uk will not be held responsible for any legal fees, damages or any expenses that may be incurred in breach of the above.
We reserve the right to refuse to provide our services to anyone supplying an image we deem inappropriate or offensive.
All the images of portraits which are displayed on this web site are copyright protected and the reproduction of these images, in whole or in part, without written permission from a Partner of portraits-shop.co.uk is expressly forbidden.
Privacy
Portraits-shop.co.uk will keep all the information that our customers provide about themselves, and will not share it with any third party (except to the extent needed to complete the order).
